Taj Mahal did a tv doc on the making of the album Kulanjan w/ Toumani Diabate. A Koura-sp? Is a sort of ancient African guitar with the body made from a gourd shell. In the tv doc taj talks about his challenge, chasing the “musical math” of delta slave-blues back to this instrument & artist.
