I was blessed in my extended uri days, circa 95 to see the cowboy junkies at Lupo’s (no2 location).

Heard you brother,.. thanks for the love!! Molly Tuttle is the most poignant. I think she won blue-grass guitarist 2 years in a row. She sings with a beautiful tremelo voice.

And with all the trouble in the world these years, you absolutely have to play Molly Tuttle covering The Dead, Standing on the moon:

Hi Joe, Matt in Galilee URI class of 94. Long time no talk. I haul seafood from Galilee to Boston. In Boston i listen to WUMB, and switch to WRIU folk every evening driving home as i hit the MA/RI border and considering both stations signal range. So anyway I’m a crazy shamanic dream traveler. Two days in a row i woke up with this old ragtime music in my head,.. familiar to classic cartoon ragtime numbers i grew up with, yet different. About 4 days after those 2 dreams,.. i heard the number on WRIU as i drove through the Pawtucket S-curves. the best moon song & a message i needed to hear,.. to get out and walk the beach and enjoy the fact that I’m living & working, both, in Galilee:
