clock on board still needs to be rteset , after DST ended. Also, it seems to be a given that track 1 will not track at times, CD2 is usually the best at this, but it could be the cd or it could be a laser lock issue in the tracking. and with the phone, I have tried calling 792-9030 and gotten no response, and I know the dj is right there, so something is not alerting them that a call is coming through, at least the last time I tried, a week ago.
Pass key did not work at the basement door. the food services staff let me in. the key worked fine for the studio
1: TT1 is completely inoperable at this point. Not sure what the deal is with that. (Try playing a record on it.)
2: TT2 is operable but still not calibrated properly. There's an awkward rumbling sound.
3: CD1 skipped and wouldn't play the first track of a perfectly good CD, creating about a minute of dead air in the process.
ditto on Allen's comments on the mics.
Saw previous message that Mic 2 was out, when I came in, both 1 and 3 were in position, so I tried 1, but no response, would not register on VU dial, so I had to use 3. Worked fine, but spring tension requires holding it in place, otherwise it goes halfway back over board, does not stay where I want it, the way others do.
MIC 2 ON /OFF, 2 IS STUCK AND NON-FUNCTIONAL.
Listener (per computer) in Bristol (where we're not on the air, because we've no more antenna) called to say that he got only "leave a message" on the -9030 number. Had to reach me on the toll-free #.
Old reliable CD player #2 was not playing continuously when the cont mode was selected. It would bounce around on the last 2 seconds or so of the current track. I had to hit pause then play for it to move on. It could have been the CD, but there you are.
Yellow cue button stuck/not lit for mic 2.
This CD player skipped on two different CDs. The CDs are fine and playable on other CD players I have.
Static when adjusting level. Needs cleaning.
TT2 sounds bad and the level is way low; CD2 skipped on a brand new CD for the gazillionth time.
Off button for MIC 2 is sticking, light is off, sometimes has to be pressed twice to work
This CD player skipped on a perfectly good CD for the umpteenth time.
terrible buzzing continues to make TT1 unusable. TT2 is barely usable as well...buzzing is not as bad but still there, and the level on that turntable is far below the rest of the board. Having only one turntable makes it impossible to properly transition from one record to another without dead air.
Yellow button from the main console became dislodged
Both CD players skipped on opening tracks of 2 different CDs.
Neither turntable is suitable for on-air play because of a loud audible buzz in both of them.
we are off air, nothing heard on radio. playlist is fine so we still seem to be streaming
confirming buzzing soundas noted before
